Calling for a Commitment to Diversity in the Medford School District
The Medford Schools Superintendent is retiring after a tenure of nearly 40 years. It's time for change, and there's an opportunity for the School Board to make sure that change means progress. So the Mystic Valley Area branch called on the Board to make a definitive commitment to diversifying school faculty and administrative staff and for it to be a qualification of the new superintendent to be committed to the value of diversity.
